The nursing education major is intended to prepare you for the nurse educator role in academic or staff progress settings. It reflects the nurse educator capabilities developed by national organizations and is complete in nature. The curriculum assimilates core masters level concepts, advanced clinical basics (i.e., assessment, pharmacology, pathophysiology) and education-focused progressions (principles of teaching, tests/measurements, curriculum development, etc.). The nursing education major is delivered through an online asynchronous format that lets you participate in courses at your own convenience.
